What about those Zeppelin Tribute Bands? There are a good number of bands out there that have captured the sound and look on stage. Here are a few links to some of the Led Zeppelin Tribute Bands:
Tribute Albums London Philharmonic Orchestra: Kashmir-Symphonic Led Zeppelin This excellent CD feature Symphonic versions of Zeppelin classics. There are many types of Symphonic Zeppelin CDs. This one belongs near the top of the list. Recommended.
Dread Zeppelin Un-Led-Ed Back in the early nineties this band from the west coast in the US was formed. It wasn't quite your normal band. The lead singer sounded and looked like Elvis and the music was Reggae and the songs were Led Zeppelin. These talented musicians comprised the band of Dread Zeppelin whom Plant even became a fan of. Their first album Un-Led-Ed unleashed a new sound that won them many fans. The group is still together and releasing new music. 1. Black Dog2. Heartbreaker (At The End Of Lonely Street) 3. Living Loving Maid 4. Your Time Is Gonna Come 5. Bring It On Home 6. Whole Lotta Love 7. Black Mountain Side 8. I Can't Quit You Baby 9. Immigrant Song 10. Moby Dick Michael White - Plays the Music Of Led Zeppelin Probably the most straight Zeppelin cover CD ever released. Note for note musically and vocally Michael covers it all which makes the CD a little to predictable. At times you may even think you are listening to the Zeppelin original. As many bands have tried and failed in the past to capture Zeppelin's sound, Michael gets it right. The CD features numerous guests including Sam Rapallo, Tim Timleck, Chris Bak, and more. Worth a listen. 1. Communication Breakdown2. Heartbreaker 3. Bring It On Home 4. All My Love 5. Going To California 6. Nobody's Fault But Mine 7. I Can't Quit You Baby 8. D'Yer Mak'er 9. Bron-Y-Aur 10. Immigrant Song 11. Dazed And Confused 12. Kashmir 13. The Battle Of Evermore 14. Stairway To Heaven
Coalesce "There is Nothing New Under The Sun." If the banjos weren't enough how about Led Zeppelin done death metal style? That's what the Kansas City band Coalesce did with there release of Zeppelin covers with a CD called "There is Nothing New Under the Sun." It rocks and amazingly as hard as the first five songs are the band pulls off two great acoustic songs of That's the Way and Thank You. You may be able to find this CD in a few stores. 01. Immigrant Song
Pickin' On Zeppelin Released in August of 2000. This Zeppelin tribute is a little different than
The Song Retains The Name II This is the second volume from the Safe House label featuring 13 Zeppelin
