Achilles Last Stand - Appears on Led Zeppelin's Presence and one the first
US box set. This epic was performed by Page and Plant during the first two nights of
their No Quarter tour in 1995.
Justin Adams - Played, Gimbri, Barbuka on Robert Plant's
Dreamland. Also toured with Robert.
Najma Akhtar - Sang with Robert Plant on The Battle Of Evermore on the No
Quarter album. She also made a few concert appearances during the tour to sing this
song.
Bashir Abdel Al-Nay - Played the Egyptian Bamboo Flute on Page and Plant's No
Quarter album.
All My Love - Appears on In Through The Out Door and on the first Zeppelin
box set. The lyrics are a tribute to Plant's son Karac who died in 1977.
Performed by Zeppelin during the 1980 European tour.
Madrtin Allcock - Played mandolin on If I Were A Carpenter on Fate
Of Nations.
Phillip Andrews - Played keyboards on Fate of Nation's Memory Song
(Hello Hello). Also with Page/Plant on the Walking Into Everywhere tour.
Anniversary -
A
song written by Plant that dealt with his divorce with Maureen, appeared on
Manic Nirvana and was performed live in the 1990 tour. Plant would play the
guitar during live versions of this song.
Hassan El Arfaoui - One of the Marrakech Musicians on No Quarter.
Jane Atkins - viola player on No Quarter.
Amin Abdel Azim - played the strings on No Quarter.
Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - Appeared on Led Zeppelin I and on the first box
set. This song was performed in Page/Plant's second that included a bit of
'Stairway.' Performed by Page and Plant and also by Plant from the Fate Of
Nations tour through Mighty Rearranger.
Baby Come On Home - A song that didn't appear until Zeppelin's second box
set. Recorded back in 1968 for the first album.
John Baggott - Played Keyboards on the Dreamland album.
Wael Abu Bakr - Was a Soloist and string player on No Quarter.
Brahim El Balkani - A Marrakech musician who appeared on No Quarter.
Barriemore Barlow - Played drums on Wreckless Love and Stranger
Here...Than Over There on The Principle Of
Moments. Was also a drummer for Jethro Tull.
Mark Berrow - Violin player on No Quarter.
Big Log -
One of Robert Plant's biggest hits. Made top 20 in the US and UK as a single,
and did well in a lot of other countries. Includes great guitar playing by
Robbie Blunt. A concert favorite in 83, 85, and 90. Appears on the Principle of
Moments album and Sixty Six To Timbuktu.
Big
Love - Appears on Manic Nirvana and is a song about a quickie on any
airplane. Includes backing vocals from Micky Groome and Rob Strude. Also
includes a Zeppelin reference in the song went Plant mentions a hotel getting
remodeled from the 1975 tour. Never played live.
Billy's
Revenge - One of many Plant and Johnstone collaborations on Now And Zen.
Track was performed live in 1988 and 1990. The versions from 1990 contains some
riffs from Oompah (Watery Bint).
Black Country Woman - The B-side to Trampled Under Foot and on Physical
Graffiti. This is the song that has that Airplane flying during the intro.
Performed by Plant in 1988 and occasionally in 1993.
Black Dog - A concert favorite that first appeared on the 1971 untitled
album, and was released as a single. A little bit of this song appears in
Plant's Tall Cool One, and some vocal lines are used in Your Ma Said
You Cried In Your Sleep Last Night. A song that many thought would never see
the day of light in concert was performed on the American Music Awards in 1995
(with a different arrangement), and as an encore during a couple Page and Plant
tours and included the Out On The Tiles riff for the intro. Also
performed for some US warm up dates for Mighty Rearranger with a new
arrangement.
Black Mountain Side - Shows up on Led Zeppelin I and on the first box set
included with White Summer. Also appears on the second box set.
Chris Blackwell
- Appears on three Robert Plant albums, Now And Zen, Manic
Nirvana, and Fate Of Nations, either as a drummer or guitar player. Is NOT the
same Chris Blackwell who has produced many records and formed Island Records in
the 70s.
Bluebird - A David Crosby song that Robert Plant performed lived during his
Fate Of Nations tour.
Blue
Train - Appears on Walking Into Clarksdale.
Robbie Blunt - Appeared on Roberts first three albums and played Guitar and
Synthesized Guitar. After the struggle to complete Shaken And Stirred and the
following tour, he parted ways with Plant.
Bonzo's Montreux - Appears on Coda and on the second box set. This song was
also mixed with Moby Dick and appears on the first box set.
Boogie With Stu - The Physical Graffiti track that is a jam with the group
and sort of official member of the Rolling Stones Ian Stewart.
Doug Boyle - Played guitars on Plant Now And Zen, Manic Nirvana, and Fate
Of Nations.
Break on Through - The Doors classic that Plant performed as an encore
during 1988.
Marie Brennan - Does backing vocals on Come Into My Life on Fate Of
Nations.
Bring It On Home - Appears on Led Zeppelin II and on the second box set.
Performed all throughout Page and Plant tours without the slow intro.
Bron-Y-Aur Stomp - The song about Plant's dog Stryder from Led Zeppelin III
and first box set. May have been tried for No Quarter, but never played by Plant
solo or with Page.
Bron-Yr-Aur - Jimmy Page's short acoustic masterpiece that shows up on
Physical Graffiti, and on the second box set.
Andrew Brown - Played violas on No Quarter

Down One Side - This rocker is the first track on Pictures at Eleven.
Features great drumming by Phil Collins. Plant's first post Zeppelin single and first music video. Still gets played on AOR stations.

May Clee Cadman - Backing Vocals on Dreamland.
Calling
To You - First track on Fate of Nations, as Robert is calling out to Jimmy.
Many remixes of this song exist, they are all pretty similar. Performed live
during the 1993 tour and Page/Plant's first US tour and part of the European
tour.
Candy Store Rock - Appeared on Zeppelin's Presence and first box set. Also
released on a single but did not chart. Performed once at a by Robert with Jimmy
in Switzerland in July of 2001.
Carouselambra - A song with lead keyboards by John Paul Jones. Appears on
In Through The Out Door and the second box set. Parts of this song showed up
during In The Evening during Page/Plant concerts.
Celebration Day - Rocker from Led Zeppelin III and first box set, this song
was used near the opening of Page/Plant's tours. Also played by Plant with Lenny
Kravitz while touring in Europe.

Don't Cry - One of the new Page/Plant compositions on No Quarter.
Laila Cohen-Appears on S S S & Q on Manic Nirvana.
Ginny Clee - Backing Vocals on Dreamland.

Phil Collins - Played drums-Pictures At Eleven, The Principle Of Moments.
Played on Philadelphia Baby with Plant for the Porky's soundtrack which
inspired the Honeydripper sessions. Also an ex-member of Genesis and has a
very successful solo act as well. Played a part of the Led Zep reunion at Live Aid.
Also appears on the Sixty Six To Timbuktu track Road To The Sun.

Of A Shade - Great Fate of Nations track that only appears on UK
pressings. Was never played live.
Come
Into My Life - Another wonderful song from Fate of Nations. Featuring
Nigel Eaton on hurdy gurdy and Maire Brennan on backing vocals.
Communication Breakdown - From Led Zeppelin I, the first box set, and the
BBC Sessions. Also the group's first single. Played by Plant in concert 1988 or
1990. Also included as an encore when John Paul Jones toured with Diamanda Galas.
Ed Coxon - violin player on No Quarter
Crunge - James Brown tribute on House of the Holy. A B-side to D'yer Ma'ker.
Appears on the second box set.
Custard Pie - Physical Graffiti track that had small bits used in Plant's Tall
Cool One. Shows up occasionally in concert by Page/Plant. Also appears on
first box set.

on my Own - One of many singles from Now And Zen, performs occasionally on
Plant in concert.
Dancing Days - Appears on Houses of the Holy and first box set. B-side to Over
The Hills And Far Away. Performed by Page/Plant with and without an orchestra.
Darkness, Darkness - A Youngblood's song played by Plant in concert and
then would show up on the Dreamland album. Performed live in 2005 as well. Also
on Sixty Six to Timbuktu.
John David - Provides backing vocals on The Principle Of Moments album.
Harriet Davies - Played violins on No Quarter.

Moon - A Plant, Ptacek composition that appears as a B-side to I Believe.

Finally performed live by Plant in 2002.
Dreamland - Plant solo album featuring cover tunes released in 2002.
Francis Dunnery - Played Guitar on Fate Of Nations, and on tour with
Robert. Has put out a few solo albums of his own.
D'yer Mak'er - The reggae like track that appeared on Houses of the Holy
and the first box set. Also released as a single. Rarely even mentioned in
concert by Page/Plant or by Led Zeppelin.
Easily
Lead - Appears on Plant's Shaken and Stirred album. Played live in 1985
and maybe in 1988.
Nigel Eaton - Played Hurdy Gurdy on two songs on Fate Of Nations. Also
played on Plant's No Quarter album, and toured with Page and Plant.

Down One Side in the UK. This song also appears on the White Nights
soundtrack. Great tune that never made an early Plant album for some reason.

John Flynn - Backing Vocals-Fate Of Nations.
Fool In The Rain - Last Zeppelin single to be released. Appears on In
Through The Out Door and on the first box set.
For Your Life - Appears on Presence and the first box set. A song written
on some of the experiences that band has gone through in a span of year.
For What It's Worth - Performed by Robert's pre Zeppelin band The Band
of Joy. Also Appears on Sixty Six To Timbuktu. Plant used parts of this song in
many concerts.
Four Sticks - Appears on Led Zeppelin's fourth album, the second box set,
and No Quarter. B-side to Rock And Roll. Performed by Page/Plant and
drummer Michael Lee played the song with four sticks in his hands.
Steve French - Provides backing vocals on I Believe off of Fate Of
Nations.
Friends - Appears on Led Zeppelin III, the first box set, and No Quarter.
This is Zeppelin's most mysterious song, and was played in concert during the
first Page/Plant tour.
Funny In
My Mind (I Believe I'm Fixin To Die) - Cover of the Bubka White song
that appears on Dreamland. Performed by Plant in 2002.
