Robert Plant Music Videos
Burning Down One Side-Plant's first video. Kind of hard to describe. He's with a few women, you
see him driving, and there's a guitar player dressed in bandages for the solo.
Big Log-Plant breaks down on the highway, and walks around a gas station, he finally get towed
away, and then a young lady happens to break down at the spot moments later.
In The Mood-Note you do not see a drummer in this video! Phil Collins performed on the album
and probably wasn't available for the video. Plant holds a lemon but he doesn't squeeze it.
Sea Of Love-A guy and girl meet, dance, and swim.
Rocking' At Midnight-The screen is split Plant singing with old pictures of people dancing.
Little By Little-This video is a little like the Eurythmics "Here Comes The Rain Again." It seems
that where some ideas come from. He did have Toni Holliday, Eurythmics backup singer on the
album.
Pink And Black-Lots of weird, shaky camera angles, fast zoom ins. Robert is holding an old
fashioned microphone through the entire video. The guitarist, Robbie Blunt, is wearing a pink
and black knitted jumper. Toni Halliday is also in the video.
Heaven Knows-Plant in the Middle East with his band.
Tall Cool One-Plant with band and backup singers on a stage. Plus a video screen behind him.
The audience is doing a dance of some sort in synch. Video is a little bit longer than the original
song.
Ship Of Fools-Plant behind a glass for the whole video. This one is a little boring.
Hurting Kind (I Got My Eyes On You)-This video has nothing to do with the song, but that isn't
important. Lots of stomach turning camera work as Robert and the band ride a roller coaster
and other fun-filled fair rides. I'm pretty sure Robert is hunting a potential bedmate around the
park.
Tye Die On The Highway-Comes from the June concert at Knebworth in 1990
Nirvana-Comes from the June concert at Knebworth in 1990
Calling To You-Plant and band singing, with some flaming balls swinging by
I Believe-Some kid swimming in water. And Plant singing on an island? Haven't seen it lately.
29 Palms-Plant does some driving around shot in black in white I believe...anyone??
If I Were A Carpenter-The video appears to have been shot in a warehouse, Plant and Boyle on
stools.
Most High - Plant singing, Page playing guitar. Lots of moving camera shots.
Darkness, Darkness - a girl has nightmares and is being chased. While Plant sings in the dark.
Morning Dew - Plant signing while a girl (same one from Darkness, Darkness walks around
and then rides a donkey pulled by a boy and rides off into the sunrise?
Shine It All Around - Features Plant and Strange Senesation playing the song with some video
effects.
All of the above music videos included on the Nine Lives Box Set.
